Bobbi Jakubiak and Mary Carlson started Children’s School and Montessori in 1993. They envisioned a neighborhood school where their own children and their neighbors’ children could have a safe, nurturing preschool experience
Because every child learns differently, Bobbi and Mary designed a curriculum that draws from classic Montessori teachings as well as trusted early childhood education principles. This well-rounded approach inspires students to solve problems in a variety of different ways and fosters self-confidence, respect, and cooperation.
Through the years, Bobbi and Mary have added a handful of other caring, energetic individuals to their close-knit team of educators. They’re proud of the school they’ve created, but most of all, they’re proud of the amazing children they’ve had the honor of teaching along the way.
